Is this a good sign for person with PCOS?

I was diagnosed with PCOS. i was put onto the pill and stayed on them for about 1 to 2 years, can't remember. i had a miscarriage on the 27th of April and took myself off birth control pretty much after that day due to alot of issues on them (Depression, Anxiety, etc.) it is now May 30th and i have just started my period today. heavy bleeding and some clots. is this a good sign that my period is on it's way to a regular cycle and i probley will continue getting them? i ask because before i was on birth control- the depo shot and i did not receive a period at all after that for about 2 years before my doctor then diagnosed me with PCOS and years following put me on birth control. anyone been through this? the irregular periods that is.
I have been eating better and probley lost a little weight. little scared to step on scale just yet but i have noticed clothes fitting looser. is that really a treatment losing weight?

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I have PCOS and endometriosis. I take Magestrol (spelling?) and it has worked wonders. I still experience night sweats and some abdominal pain, but they are far less severe than they were before. The other symptoms have pretty much gone away. Since starting this medication I have had no periods and no bleeding at all. Perhaps you could ask your doctor about Magestrol. It has been a godsend for me and I have two conditions harming my reproductive system.

For your original question. Yes, it is possible. The pregnancy could have temporarily "corrected" your hormones per say. This probably will not last so you need to talk to your doctor. Good luck.
